The Best Hotel at the best site Spacious rooms, comfortable large double beds, great view of the gulf and the harbor, especially from the bar on 3rd floor. A lot of choices in the breakfast and dinner buffet. Quality services provided by the hotel staff.

Εξαιρετικά cocktails καταπληκτική μουσική!

Truly 5* Having stayed at Xenia Volos on more than one occasions, the amenities on offer are exactly what's expected from a xenia hotel. Safety, hygiene and service are above par. The pool is monitored at all times by a lifeguard whom we witness rescue and elderly gentleman from drowning due to health issues. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms newly refurbished, breakfast buffet delicious and plentiful. Would gladly visit it a fourth time.

Ιδανική τοποθεσία Ένα ξενοδοχείο που τα περιέχει όλα. Άνετο, καθαρότατο, με τέλειο πρωινο, πισινες, σπα και πάνω από όλα pet friendly!
Η τοποθεσία του είναι κυριολεκτικά πάνω στη θάλασσα ενώ δίδεται η ευκαιρία να περπατήσετε από εκεί όλη τι παραλιακή!

Επισκεφτήκαμε το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο πρώτη φορά με την γυναίκα μου και τα δυο ανήλικα παιδιά μας. Στα θετικά είναι :|-το σημείο του πας με τα πόδια στο κέντρο.|-θάλασσα μπροστά .|-πεντακάθαρο |-το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο |-προσεγμένοι χώροι |-τιμες προσιτές για αυτά που προσφέρει |-τα δωμάτια άνετα με όλες τις ανέσεις |Στα αρνητικά βάζω τα spa τα οποία ήταν κλειστά δήθεν για τεχνικούς λόγους αλλά θα ήθελα να είχα ενημέρωση πριν πάμε στο ξενοδοχείο και όχι κατά την άφιξη μας εκεί . Νομίζω για τα λεφτά που πληρώνεις επρεπε να είχαμε ενημέρωση .

Excellent We stayed here for one night before travelling to Volos Airport. The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable with a large balcony.
The facilities were fantastic. As we weren’t flying until the late evening we were able to stay at the hotel until we had to leave for the airport. We sat in the sun around the beautiful outdoor pool and then used the free spa: jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and bubble pool. It was just what we needed before taking our flight.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous and the breakfast was really good.
We certainly felt after using all of the fantastic facilities that we got our money’s worth. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel !!

Superb Superb ΘΕΑ , ΚΑΘΑΡΟ ΚΑΙ ΕΥΡΥΧΩΡΟ ΔΩΜΑΤΙΟ, ΠΛΟΥΣΙΟ ΠΡΩΪΝΟ, ΑΝΕΤΟ PARKING δεν είχε βραστήρα στο δωμάτιο

Lovely, but definately not 5* quality! We visited Xenia Volos just two days for the occasion of visiting our friends in Volos. The hotel is pleasant, the Staff were friendly and helpful, and our stateroom was clean.The Spa area is beautiful and well equipped (although some of the facilities were out of order), offering good variety of treatments by well qualified therapists.
However the mattress was quite old and not as comfortable as it should be. The carpeting in the corridors was not very clean and this was visible.
Furthermore our bathtub was stained with rusted areas.
Coffee station in the room was not provided, and as i was told when i requested for it,this is only provided in the suites.
The hotel restaurant offers a full menu with some delicious dishes. The breakfast is also very good with numerous choices.
One of the things they stood out about the hotel, is of course the location of the property who offers a great view at both sides, (sea & city).
Given all the pros, we are not certain whether we will return, as our expectations for 5* were not met.

Sommes très satisfait Nous avons passés 4 nuits au Domotel Xénia, tout est parfait, chambre propre, confortable, petit déjeuner avec un assortiment tout a fait correct, belle vue sur le golfe Pagasétique, a cette période de début juin se trouve toujours ensolleillé
Le personnel est symapthique que ce soit a l'accueil ou dans l'ensemble de l'hotel

Nous y retournerons l'an prochain et nous conseillons pour les personnes qui aiment se promener le soir en front de port car l'on partir directement a pied

Συνηθίζω να ταξιδεύω στον Βόλο για επαγγελματικες υποχρεώσεις, και τα τελευταία χρόνια επιλέγω πάντα το Domotel Xenia Volou, Είναι απλά το καλύτερο ξενοδοχείο στον Βόλο σε υπέροχη τοποθεσία με καθαρά δωμάτια πλούσιο πρωινό και φιλικό προσωπικό

A café place for those who don't smoke We finally found in the city of Volos a place in which smoking is prohibited and we can have a coffee without smelling others smoke!!! The view of Pagaseticos gulf is perfect. The menu is a little bit poor and expensive. The service is very good and the employees very kind. I recommend the place for those who have small children and babies.

Very comfortable hotel, great location, very helpful service Great location on Harbour front in Volos, easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, park and cafe strip. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable beds, friendly and helpful service. Spacious upstairs bar area and ground floors lawns with good views. The only minor flaw (as in many places in Greece) is that mixed drinks/cocktails tend to be flat. Perhaps they don't carbonate their drinks as much as some other countries. But that is very minor! We would have stayed a second time on our way back but it was booked out, seems that Saturday nights book up fast.

gut saniertes Hotel. War schön öfters in diesem Hotel. Die Sanierung ist sehr gut gelungen. Alles passt, die Bar im 1. Stock, das Frühstück. Eine gute Lage rundet das ab.
Leider war bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt auch der Yachtclub in Betrieb und hat mit sehr lauter Musik die Nachtruhe empfindlich gestört - schade.

Bien situé au bord de l’eau Comme signalé sur d’autres avis, tres bon hotel étape. Situé en bord de mer avec une vue ´les pieds dans l’eau’.
Ensemble propre et lumineux.
On regrettera l’absence de bouilloire dans la chambre, confort correct mais sans plus.
Chambre avec odeur de cigarettes, bien preciser si vous voulez une chambre non fumeur.
Buffet petit deleuner tres bien

Καθαριότητα πολύ καλή. Το στρώμα επίσης πολύ καλό. Όμως τα δωμάτια δεν έχουν καθόλου, μα καθόλου ηχομόνωση. Μιλάει στο διπλανό δωμάτιο κάποιος και νομίζεις πως είναι στον ίδιο χώρο με εσένα. Και αν τύχει και ροχαλίζει κιόλας, δεν κλείνεις ματι.Επίσης, είχα την εντύπωση πως τα μπαρ των ξενοδοχείων συμβαδίζουν με τα αστέρια του κάθε ξενοδοχείου. Δυστυχώς πιο κακό μπαρ δεν συνάντησα. Όλος ο χώρος να βρωμάει τσιγαρίλα. Κάπνιζαν όλες οι κοπέλες που δουλευαν στο μπαρ καθώς και όλοι όλοι οι θαμώνες. Τεκές κανονικός. Και από μουσική, όλο το βράδυ ακούγαμε σχεδόν αποκλειστικά Θεοδωρίδου.

Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία! Καθαρά ευρύχωρα δωμάτια, ωραίο φαγητό, πλούσιο πρωινό και η θάλασσα στα πόδια σου.

lovely stay We were sad we only stayed one night. It was modern with a lot of wood. Reminded us of a hotel near a ski lodge. Right on the water. Buffet breakfast had enough options and even made me a hard boiled egg. Bed etc very comfortable

Τέλεια θέα Το ξενοδοχείο domotel στον Βόλο βρίσκεται σε μία απίθανη τοποθεσία, ένας χώρος για όλα τα γούστα του καθενός, το πρωινό του πολύ ωραίο ,το προσωπικό ηταν όλοι πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και ευχάριστοι, το προτείνω για όλους που ψάχνουν κάτι διαφορετικό.

nice hotel @ seaside stayed 5 nights. hotel at seaside has a beach. but it is not sand small rocks and take care there are sea urchins and i pressed on them on both feet 🙁 roof bar is very good. good music. rooms are ok only the bad thing was no balcony at my room. pool is also ok but filled with sea water.

Great Staff But Hotel Showing It's Age The staff at the Xenia Volos are some of the most friendly and hospitable you will find in Greece. However, the hotel itself is showing its age in places and the bedrooms, although serviceable are not up to modern standards. Having recently stayed in some newer hotels it is obvious this is a hotel in need of an upgrade. The corridors are dated and could do with new carpeting and decoration. The bedrooms do not have any of the modern convenience you expect for the wired lifestyle we all take for granted. The beds are very comfortable, however. Breakfast is a feast in itself and has a wide variety of dishes available, and is certainly enjoyable sitting overlooking the water of the bay. The bonus for any traveller to Volos is that the hotel has a large parking area as the city has a horrendous parking problem. Better to leave your car at the hotel and take a taxi if you want to visit anywhere in the city close by. Would I stay at the hotel again, the answer would be yes. With updated accommodation areas this could easily be a 4*+ hotel.

Excellent hotel Me and my partner have stayed at Xenia 3 times when we visit his family in Greece. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms and breakfast is yummy.
We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

Situated at the end of Volos,from where you can wztsh the whole bay .Peaceful environment where you can lay down,relax,having your spa massage-wonderful experience-and then start discovering the town on foot or using a bike.The service iw excellent.Warm people,well educated and they make you feel like this is your friendly neighbourhood.Volos is well famous for using bikes many decades now.There are archeaological sites to visit,2 small archaelogical small villages and museum to visit.I stromgly recommend a trip to Pilion-the small mountain that comtinues to the seashore of Nolos.As to the food trust their saucages -excellent quality- cheeses,dishes of high quality.

Estupendo para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas Una excelente ubicación al lado del mar. Cuenta con zona verde y de una pequeña playa. Habitaciones amplias con todos los servicios y excelentes vistas.
Cerca de la población, no hace falta coche .

Θέμα με το σέρβις Πεντάστερο ξενοδοχείο που διαθέτει όλα τα καλά για να είναι εξαιρετικό:Θέση πάνω στη θάλασσα, εστιατόρια-μπαρ με συγκλονιστική θέα θάλασσα και την πόλη του Βόλου, πλούσιο πρωινό με πληθώρα τοπικών προϊόντων και μεγάλα ευρύχωρα δωμάτια με όμορφη μινιμαλιστική και προτότυπη διακόσμηση. Ωστόσο, χάνει στο σέρβις. Δε μπορεί σε ώρα αιχμής να υπάρχει μόνο ένας υπάλληλος στην υποδοχή, δεν επιτρέπεται να σε υποδέχονται παραδίδοντάς σου μόνο την κάρτα του δωματίου και να σου υποδεικνύουν ότι όλα τα υπόλοιπα θα τα βρεις στο δωμάτιο (ούτε κωδικοί Wi Fi ούτε ώρες πρωινού). Τέλος θα ήθελα να επισημάνω την αδιάφορη και αντιεπαγγελματική αντίδραση του νυκτερινού ρεσεπσιονίστ όταν διαμαρτυρήθηκα για το θόρυβο στις 12 τα μεσάνυχτα από παρακείμενο μπαράκι: έδειξε άγνοια για τις ώρες κοινής ησυχίας (είσαι νυχτερινός σε ξενοδοχείο και φροντίζεις για την ξεκούραση των ενοίκων και δεν ξέρεις τις ώρες κοινής ησυχίας;;;;;;;;;), θεώρησε ότι δεν έπρεπε να κάνει κάτι (πχ αστυνομία) γιατί "ζούμε στο Ελλαδιστάν και υποθέτω ότι στο ακαδημαϊκό τέταρτο θα την κλείσουν τη μουσική"!!! Αυτολεξή απάντηση σε πελάτη 5* ξενοδοχείου!

Κλασσικό ξενοδοχείο. Κλασσικό ξενοδοχείο. Το Ξενία είναι σταθερά το ξενοδοχείο με την καλύτερη θέση στο Βόλο. Εξαιρετικό πρωϊνό όπως πάντα, καλά στρώματα και καλό spa. Έχει αρχίσει και θέλει ανακαίνιση, χρειάζονται αλλαγή οι μοκέτες των διαδρόμων. Για μένα είναι η μόνιμη επιλογή μου στο Βόλο.

Прекрасно Если вы уж добрались до этого города богом забытых аргонавтов и кентавров, это значит - у вас есть слишком весомая причина. Селитесь только в этой гостинице и исключительно берите номер с видом на море. Цена разумно высокая (налоги в Греции успешно разрушают остатки бизнеса). Персонал очень дружелюбный. We have just returned from an 18 night stay at this delightful Hotel and cannot praise it highly enough. From the moment we we were greeted at reception on our arrival until our departure we were treated as highly valued guests. The reception staff were helpful in every manner and our room was spacious and comfortable, offering every amenity expected. We were booked on a bed & breakfast basis and the chef and his staff in the restaurant at breakfast were exceptional, offering a great variety of food for everyone's taste Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff in the Hotel and we thank them all for their service which made stay so enjoyable. So much so that we have already booked to return at the same time in 2020 and cannot wait

Pleasant 5* hotel in Volos We stayed at Xenia Volos for two days upon the occasion of our visit to the city for business. The hotel is pleasant, rooms are generally clean and the staff friendly and helpful. However the carpeting in the corridors is stained and generates a stale odor that does not do justice to the property. The hotel restaurant offers a full menu with some nice dishes at reasonable prices. The breakfast is also very good with numerous choices including the possibility to make your own Greek coffee ! Last but not least the bar is really great and if you visit make sure to try it out.

Surprise Walked in after asking a restaurant down the road if there was somewhere close to stay and this is what they suggested and am glad. Rooms were lovely and clean, spacious and wifi very good. View was lovely and summery you won’t be disappointed, our room had a noisy fan in the bathroom that’s all.

Comfort overlooking the Gulf We have stayed here previously, but it is a beautifully located hotel overlooking the Pagasitikos Gulf, with the mountains of Evia in the far distance. It is extremely comfortable with air conditioning in every room and generous sized rooms and ensuite bathrooms. We arrived late and so missed a meal, but breakfast was excellent.

Ένα εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο!! Ένα πολυτελέστατο ξενοδοχείο σε μια υπέροχη τοποθεσία, ιδανικό για ξεκούραση και χαλάρωση! Με θέα το απέραντο γαλάζιο και με ζεστή φιλοξενία, κάνει τη διαμονή μια ανεπανάληπτη εμπειρία, από τα δωμάτια μέχρι το εστιατόριο το μπαρ και τη reception. Καλή σχέση ποιότητας και τιμής για την πολυτέλεια που προσφέρει .Σίγουρα στην επόμενη επίσκεψη μας στο Βόλο θα το προτιμήσουμε και πάλι.

Το ξενοδοχείο θέλει ανακαίνιση.Δεν υπάρχει οργανωμένος χώρος π.χ ξαπλώστρες για μπάνιο στη θάλασσα ενώ το ξενοδοχείο έχει ωραία έκταση με δενδρα ανεκμετάλλευτη ..Δυστυχως την έχουν μόνο για δεξιώσεις το βράδυ η για να παίζουν παιδιά και εκτός των ενοίκων του ξενοδοχείου ενώ δεν έχει υποδομές για παιδική χαρά .

Exceptional Exceptional Πολύ καθαρό. Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο (10 λεπτά ευχάριστο περπάτημα) όπου δεν βρίσκεις να παρκάρεις. Τρομερή θέα και ησυχία. Το πρωί ακούς απλά τον ήχο της θάλασσας. Άνετο δωμάτιο και μπάνιο. Χώροι άνετοι και όμορφοι για να απολαύσεις τον καφέ σου.

La vue mer sympa, proche du centre et en même temps assez calme. Le bar du yacht club sur le toit de l’hôtel vaut le détour..

Definetely one of the finest hotels in the city . Right by the sea, with its own outdoor swimming pool and a roof garden cafeteria which overlooks the entirety of the gulf of the city , this hotel is definetely a great place to spend a few days .

Wonderful, relaxing, great service Hotel has several restaurants, breakfast is included. They have a nice bar with music to relax that overlooks the water. The beach was small but very nice. Has an indoor pool, spa, and salon. I wish the work out center opened earlier. Hotel is within walking distance of shopping and other interesting spots. I would recommend this hotel.

Deux défauts : l'hôtel n'a pas de plage. Une toute petite plage publique mais les vraies plages ne sont accessibles qu'en voiture.
Certaines chambres n'ont pas de vue sur la mer mais sur un immense parking public très fréquenté: à éviter

Πολύ καλό αλλά....... Η θέση του μοναδική, περπατώντας παραλιακά φτάνεις στο κέντρο του Βόλου, χωρίς να το καταλάβεις. Η αίθουσα πρωινού όμορφη με θέα θάλασσα, το roof garden το ίδιο.
Αυτό που χρήζει άμεσης αντικατάστασης είναι τα στρώματα και τα μαξιλάρια και επίσης πρέπει να γίνει κάτι με την ηχομόνωση.
Το προσωπικό είναι ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό.

Good Good Πολύ φτωχό πρωινό- μικρή ποικιλία που δεν ανταποκρίνεται σε ξενοδοχείο 5 αστέρων. Όχι πολύ άνετα κρεβάτια. Το wi-ti απαράδεκτο. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό.

Perfect hospitality It was one more enjoyable experience staying at this hotel which is at a perfect spot of the city with great view, atmosphere and always with a staff ready to at your service with a smile and kindness. I always enjoy staying there.

Μέτριο προς καλό Το επισκέφθηκα για επαγγελματικό λόγο...εντάξει στο πρώτο κομμάτι,του καφε δηλαδή ηταν μια χαρά,στο δεύτερο όμως που ηταν κρασί και finger food...ηταν προς το κακό...οι γεύσεις αδιάφορες.Μόνο το γλυκό ηταν καλό.

The trip was amazing. The property is beautiful, the spa was nice, the service was outstanding. The people at the front desk were very helpful in helping me find my way around Volos. The food was great, and I dont think you can find a better view from the property. Looking out at the sea and the beach is pretty amazing.

Very good Hotel. High rate at everything Old Xenia Hotel, renovated by Domotel. Perfect job on the rooms. The breakfast restaurant has a sea view. Excellent Greek breakfast and every kind of coffee. Not far from the city. Closer than it seems on the map. The roof Bar is perfect for all day and has a perfect view of the city.

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο φανταστική εξυπηρέτηση

Ruhiges, am Strand gelegenes Stadthotel, sehr gepflegt Das Xenia liegt am Strand unweit des Hafens von Volos. Mit Zimmer zum Meer begleitet Meeresrauschen und nicht Autolärm den Aufenthalt, obwohl das Hotel unweit des Zentrums liegt. Zimmer, Ausstattung und Service sind gut. Schöner Pool für die Gäste. Preis/Leistung sehr gut und ein recht üppiges Frühstücksbüffet rundet den angenehmen Aufenthalt ab.

Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχειοf Ένα εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχειο στην καταλύτερη ίσως θέση της πόλης,Πολύ άνετα δωμάτια με θαυμάσια θέα προς τη θάλασσα(ορισμένα από αυτά)ωραίοι χώροι τόσο στον εσωτερικό του ξενοδοχείου όσο και έξω δίπλα στη θάλασσα. Πολύ καλό σέρβις, ευγενικό και προθυμοτατο προσωπικό, πλούσιο πρωινό. Το μπαρ-night club στον 3ο όροφο με εκπληκτική θέα. Άνετο parking.
