Kastri Bistrot Better than ever

The fully revamped restaurant of Domotel Kastri has been designed down to the last detail to make you feel at home whether you are here for a business appointment or for a few hours of relaxed quality time with your loved ones.

A glass partition offers a 180-degree view onto a lush garden with tall trees while allowing ample natural light to flood the room. The space makes you feel right at home: you sit at the round table or on a comfortable sofa, fresh flowers in a vase, a bookcase against the wall. Special attention has been paid to detail, particularly with the fine furniture. Welcome to Kastri Bistro. Fully revamped, with high-quality service and a distinguished menu of creative Greek cuisine

with Mediterranean references, it is among the top choices for lunch or dinner in Kastri, and the ideal spot for gathering with friends and family or for business functions. The menu has been assembled with an emphasis on seasonality and the dishes are based on the ideas and techniques of Domotel Kastri Executive Chef Thodoris Karinos and Kastri Bistro Chef de Cuisine Alexandros Charalabopoulos. Both bring a fresh approach to contemporary and traditional dishes.

Start with our signature pie, with 12 Messinian greens and yogurt; a modern dish, “deconstructed” in appearance, and with an authentic, rich flavor. The lamb trilogy, with cuts from different parts of the lamb prepared in varied ways, is innovative and classic at the same time, highlighting the creativity of the chefs. Fresh red mullet with a Corinthian currant sauce leaves an interesting sensation with a taste of the sea on the palate.

The poached egg with creamed stamnagathi chicory greens, mashed potatoes with lightly smoked eel and a custard of Naxos arseniko cheese is a multi-layered dish with eclectic ingredients. This is the place to invite the people you care about for a meal that will be talked about later, and to open a bottle of wine from the carefully selected list, which contains excellent Greek labels. The private area of the Macelleria, with its impressive atmosphere, the large monastery-style table that can seat up to 22 people and the big cold lockers containing fine-quality meats from Macelleria Oberto in Piedmont, Italy, offers a high-caliber gastronomic experience.

Finish off the meal on a perfect note with one of the desserts recommended by our pastry chef: the sweet spices of the pain d’epices, or the rich praline feuilletine with lemon and lime cream and crispy almond cookies. Bask in the sensation of being taken care of as if you were the guest of honor.
